The authors of The Dream Catcher’s Song will read short stories and poems. Each literary piece will be interpreted through dance. This event will take place at the Brooklyn Society for Ethical Culture.

This event is being produced and promoted by Fashion and The Arts™ (FATA).  FATA has developed a set of events that include community-based artists and platforms. The “Series” events include Fashion, Beauty, Dance, Music, Literature, Film, Mentoring, Philanthropy and Business Workshops. This event will display the fusion of both dance and literature that will illuminate the hearts and minds of those who are passionate about these art forms.

OtherShore Dance Company is a dancer-led company in New York that has brought together directors, dancers, composers and visual artists in order to develop and broaden their artistry. Central to OtherShore is that a core group of dancers, with uncountable amounts of professional experience in major national dance companies, both contemporary and ballet, can initiate projects stemming from their own artistic interests. This interpretation of literature through dance will embody each dancer's spirit inspired from the selected reading, which is sure to give the audience a memorable performance.
